Busy Days!

It has been awhile since I posted here as I have been so busy with a few projects, Some of my reborn clothing designs have been purchased by a well known company for mass production. I am excited about this opportunity. Designing and bringing together some ideas to make this work is alot of fun. Give me a reason to scour the fabric department, get inspired and my creativity comes alive. My reborn dolls have also been recognized by a larger crowd. custom orders are piled up at the moment, and I have a waiting list. I love this art form and am enjoying bringing these little beautiesd to life. My las two babies are on there way to their new mommies...

Mothers day 2008

I woke up this morning and my wonderfull children had a few surprises for me. Home made gifts, my favorite things to get knowing that they spent time and effort making me something and hoping I'd like it? How could I not like it? No fancy store bought things, just love and a desire to please. The best mother's day ever. My kids are growing up to be thoughful and loving individuals despite the difficulties that families go through. I am so proud of them and so happy to be their mom. Mothers Day? Im just glad that I am their mom. I will always show them love, kindness and compassion. Each day I try to show them pride in their accomplishments. The greatest joy I can ever have is for them to know I love them, so there are no doubts. Doubting your mother's love is something Inever want them to experience.

I hope every day brings them joy and happiness, and that when things get tough for them that they will continue to have the confidence that "Mom" will be there for them.

I love you all, you brighten my days with sunshine

What a day! The snow is falling like crazy here, what better time to get out that sewing machine than when you are stuck inside. Well today was a productive day and I managed after listening to the kids fight over who's turn it is on the PS3 to get two outfits made. This has been a very busy summer for me... three kids will do that to you. I am quite excited to tell you that I have been featured in the magazine "Doll Crafter and Costuming". It was exciting to see my things featured and a little bit about my family and my passion. I will be bringing you some very sweet vintage heirloom clothing with a featured doll once in awhile. This is a busy time for me.. I am getting ready for Joey to take his first school trip, He is going to quebec for a week.. he is also graduating this year and off to high school. Seems like only yesterday I was trying to teach him to walk, now remind me again why we teach them these things? It would be easier to just not teach them and let them stay dependant on you longer... they grow up too fast. I love my children and want to see them excel and learn but I sure do miss them when they are not here..
I am working on a new dress set today and hopefully I can get it done.. i am also trying to get this doll ready for sale... but my husband took my oven apart to fix it and well lets just say there is no drawing for putting it back...

Oh oh, school is almost over and the kids are getting restless.. Kyla has gorwn so much in the past few months that she no longer looks like my little baby. Taylor is doing amazingly well in his new school we finally found a school that fits.. and he is happy and making a ton of friends. He is at the moment trying out for the baseball team and I am hoping that he makes it. He is a great little athlete, and he loves his sports. Joey is going to be starting high school in the fall. he is excited and really getting tired of school right now, he really wants to start high school. Don't rush your life Joey, trust me it all goes by too fast.
Wow guess what I joined facebook and met my all time first ever bestest friend ( typed it that way on purpose) I could not believe it... and can you believe she lives in the one place now that I dream of moving to... Gosh ... this world is a small place after all...

Well people, its now 2007 and I wish you all the best in this coming year. There is a new baby in the Nursery. She is a sweet thing... Her sweet eyes will melt your heart..
SHe is 21 inches long with a custom made doe suede body.. Her hair has been micro rooted for that real baby look that is so apprealing with collectors. She is numbered as a new series for 2007 and will come with a birth certificate hand signed by the artist. Please do not let this little one slip through your hands she is adorable...

ohhhh no where have I been?

Wow christmas is almost upon us and I have no idea where the time went... Things around here are crazy. The kids are starting to get excited, and Joey wants it to snow really bad, because that means his birthday will be here sooner.. lol... times is going past fast... he will be a teenager next week... I am sonot ready for that... he likes his new school and is looking forward to going to high school... even though the poor guy is scared to death of going to such a big school... Taylor is growing like a weed... last week he took a bad fall skating and got a concusion and a broken wrist... he is devestated waiting to see how long he will have to stay off the ice and miss his hockey... We are hoping its not long... He is doing well in school and meeting alot of new friends... Kyla loves her new school as well .. and is getting taller by the minute... she still loves her hockey.. and clothes.. she is looking forward to christmas... and still believes in santa... Joe and I are struggling to get through this holiday.. and we look forward to seeing all of our friends and family christmas eve...

She is a little sweetheart and comes with hand micro rooted imported angora mohair... She has a fully jointed cloth body and 1/4 limbs, so she is extra cuddly... There is a new baby in the nursery, Little baby Hannah in all her elegance has been hand painted with genesis heat set paints. She was then given a head of fine hand rooted angora mohair, this mohair best resembles that of a new born baby, it is so fine and soft.
